Practical course focused on small animal lung sonography – the only course in Europe teaching lung ultrasound with Doppler application.
The event partner is Samohýl group.
Date: Friday–Sunday 29. – 31. 5. 2026 (Friday 17–19 followed by a get-together, Saturday and Sunday 9–17)

The course covers:
–Ultrasonographic anatomy of the thorax
– Lung scanning technique and machine settings
– Introduction to Doppler imaging for lungs
– Common lung pathologies (pneumothorax, atelectasis, pneumonia, cardiogenic and non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema, pulmonary fibrosis)
– Curtain signs
– Diagnostic algorithms in lung ultrasound
– Cool and interesting clinical cases
– The practical part including scanning live animals and specially prepared anatomical specimens
