Katarzyna Kraszewska, DVM, Ph.D. (Poland)

Her professional goal has always been to become a veterinary cardiologist. She gained experience during internships at the Cardiology Unit of the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław (Prof. U. Pasławska, Dr. A. Noszczyk-Nowak), in Austria (Dr. P. Modler), and at Gran Sasso Clinic in Milan (Dipl. ECVIM-CA C. Bussadori), focusing on interventional cardiology. She completed postgraduate ESAVS cardiology courses under Dr. Gerhard Wess (Dipl. ACVIM, ECVIM-CA) and a lung ultrasonography course at the Roztocze Ultrasound School.

She is a member of the European Society of Veterinary Cardiology (ESVC), conducts ECG and echocardiography trainings in Poland and abroad, and serves as an ESAVS course instructor. She is the co-author of the Atlas of Lung Ultrasonography (together with Michał Gajewski) and has published extensively on lung ultrasonography. In her current practice, she manages cardiology and pulmonology cases in dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and exotic animals.
