Course Locoregional Anaesthesia PRAGUE

In this course, Dr. Robert Trujanovic teaches the necessary knowledge of regional anesthesia, which, when used in practice, helps to reduce the amount of anesthetic and thus also the risk of anesthesia. Surgical areas for painful procedures are anesthetized very specifically, which means that the patients do not feel any pain during the procedure and in the waking phase.

Module 1 (Saturday 26. 9.)

Basics, equipment ultrasound (US), nerve stimulator (NS), needles, clinical pharmacology of local anesthetics, indications, contraindications, complications, LAST (systemic toxicity of local anesthetics), functional anatomy of the head nerves, block of the maxillary nerve, infraorbital nerve, inferior alveolar nerve, mental nerve, peribulbar block, retrobulbar block, local infiltration anesthesia (LIA), testicular block, functional anatomy of the hind limb, epidural anesthesia, blocks of the sciatic nerve, saphenous nerve, ring block of the hind limb, live demo with exercise

Practical exercise on anatomical models.

Module 2 (Sunday 27. 9.)

Functional anatomy of the forelimb, subscalene block of the brachial plexus, axillary block of the plexus brachialis, ring block of the forelimb, live demo with exercise, functional anatomy of the thorax and abdominal wall, blocks of the serratus plane, the intercostal nerves and the transversus abdominis plane (TAP), live demo with exercises
